Fresh Air

I created the piece by collaging together painted and screenprinted paper and drawings. I like the idea of an exuberant garden that breaks apart the cell, growing out of the walls and floors. I feel that by showing this person looking at these plants with wonder, it shows the feeling of wonder and freedom, and we can relate to that, and connect with how beautiful the future will be when we make prisons history.
