Crystal Boceta

Artist & Community Manager

Crystal Boceta is the first Artist and Community Manager at Harness. She is passionate about using the power of culture and media to create progressive social change. She empowers the Harness artist network by connecting them with social justice movement leaders, and producing educational and leadership development opportunities for talent and the industry executives that work closely with them. Crystal also works on Harness’ Industry Impact series, and convenes Harness’ community of cultural organizers to facilitate deeper relationships and ignite collaborations. Prior to this, Crystal served as Influencer and Impact Coordinator for Harness’ incubated project, Culture Surge, engaging over 100 artists for commissions during the 2020 election and 2021 Senate runoffs. Previously, Crystal worked in public relations and influencer engagement at TOMS Shoes, and spent three years at Creative Artists Agency. 

Crystal is a proud Bruin who attended University of California, Los Angeles with a major in Communication Studies, and a minor in Global Studies. As a first-generation Filipina American, she is passionate about AAPI visibility and inclusion across the entertainment industry. When she isn’t traveling, she tends to her many houseplants on unceded Kumeyaay land in San Diego.
